what is there to be said? I am grateful that my family, though in the northeast, are safe. they sent videos today of the baby delighting in eating pasta, and of the sunset - so glad that they have the little one to offer a simple perspective.

I'm so glad all your family are safe, as well. There was a series of before and after interactive shots like that on The New York Times website as well - some different areas than the ones on ABC. Together they give a pretty appalling story of the destruction. So insane.
