yesterday was the first day of the new year that I hung laundry on the line - I bought new terra cotta coloured bedsheets, and couldn't resist the warm sun we've had here the last few days.
the huge walnut tree in the yard - so much blue in the sky and in the shadows on the snow. I like watching the paths of the squirrels & rabbits show up after a fresh snowfall.
