I love etsy for a lot of reasons, and one of those reasons is that it lets me discover people like alison in florida, who i may never have found. this necklace came in the mail today and i can't stop touching it [all you fellow-tactile-people out there will understand]. it is made of matte glass beads, and put together in such a way that it feels soft.
so well made, too - down to the way the clasp and the chain join, so thoughtfully considered. and wonderful photos, too - these are hers - they show the work so well. I'm already plotting my next purchase from her - have a look at her shop.
