bibs, version one and two

arounna had suggested to me that I make bibs a while, back, and I've finally gotten around to it. above is the first version, and below is the second.

I like the first one, but the bias tape was too difficult to get around the tight rounded ends at the back, and I wanted to avoid more snaps, because I just hate hammering them in. also, I love covered buttons, they are on almost everything I make for children, so I wanted to include them. I didn't realize how small necks are - this looks tiny, but I can wear it around my neck!

I really like them - especially the one with the button. I find the bias tape so finicky.

a) necks are small. i made a bunch of friends measure their when i started the neck warmers. they are also very similar sizes. people who think they have fat necks have short necks.

b)these are great.

I really like the one with a button - the asymmetry is really nice ;)

These are lovely! I have lots of babies to buy for all of a sudden, are they gonna be available for sale soon?

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Kalpna - still working out a bit of a bias-tape-around-small-curves issue, hopefully in a week or so.
